Method & assumptions
Run minutes = max(0, available hours × 60 − setup minutes). Whole attempted units = floor(run minutes ÷ cycle minutes). Expected good-unit equivalent = attempted units × yield percentage.
- One sequential station and one setup are assumed. Enter realistic productive time after breaks and other downtime.
- Yield is a planning average, not a promise of whole good units. Overlapping stations, staffing, queues and material shortages need a separate schedule.
