What information is used to run WoodWorkCalc, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

WoodWorkCalc is intended for project planning and shop workflows. Avoid entering payment-card data, health information, or other sensitive personal information that is not needed to use the product.

Content safety
Reports of abusive content are sent to WoodWorkCalc support with the reported content and account identifiers so administrators can investigate and respond. We store your blocked-user choices to hide team messages between blocked accounts. Administrators can remove reported content from user views and suspend abusive accounts. Blocking does not change shop roles or business record ownership.

iOS app and purchases
The iOS app stores offline tools and local workshop records on your device. Connected features use authenticated requests to WoodWorkCalc. Known Google advertising and analytics requests are blocked in the app’s connected workspace. For Apple subscriptions, we verify Apple-signed transactions and store a random account-binding token, product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, environment and revocation status to provide subscription access. Apple handles payment details under its own privacy policy.

Information connected to the service
To provide WoodWorkCalc, we may process information you provide when creating an account or using workspace features, such as account contact details and the project, quote, inventory, job, or feedback information you choose to save.

Technical and session information
We use technical information and session or preference technologies that are necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. This can include device or browser information, request logs, and information used to keep an authenticated session working.

Analytics and measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand how WoodWorkCalc is used, including page visits, calculator interactions, navigation into quotes or pricing, and general device or browser information. Site tracking is configured to remove query strings and normalize customer, job, project, quote, and invitation identifiers from the page paths sent to analytics. Google may process analytics information under its own terms and privacy practices.

How information is used
Information is used to provide requested features, save your workspace data, protect accounts and the service, respond to support requests, diagnose issues, understand product usage, and improve WoodWorkCalc. We use the minimum information reasonably needed for those purposes.

Sharing
Information may be processed by service providers that help host, secure, measure, or operate WoodWorkCalc, and may be disclosed when required to comply with law, enforce the Terms, or protect users and the service. Third-party links and references operate under their own privacy policies.

Your choices
You can permanently delete your account from Account settings in the iOS app after confirming your password or reauthenticating with Apple. Choose immediate deletion or an optional 48-hour cancellation window. Scheduled cleanup runs hourly after that window and retries provider failures; you can check or cancel a pending request in Account settings. Deletion removes your account and owned shops, including their shared files and records, and revokes your sessions and memberships. Business records belonging to other shop owners remain with account attribution removed; your authored team messages are deleted. Local offline notes, calculations and learning remain on your device until you remove them. Existing Stripe shop subscriptions are canceled during deletion. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately in Apple subscription settings. Payment providers may retain legally required transaction records. Contact us for help with access, corrections or deletion.

Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information in the service. No internet service can promise absolute security, so protect your account credentials and avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for a woodworking project or quote.

Policy updates
We may update this policy when the product or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by revising the date below.
