Removal rate in mm³/min = axial depth × radial width × feed in mm/min. Divide by 1,000 for cm³/min. Engaged cutting time = target volume ÷ removal rate.

  • Models a rectangular, constant-engagement cut. Entry moves, corners, changing engagement and air cuts are excluded.
  • This is a geometric volume estimate, not a spindle power or safe cutting-load calculation. Select cutting parameters from your tooling guidance.
