Assumptions & limits

Ratio, density, maximum lift and cure time must come from the exact resin system’s technical data sheet. Weight and volume ratios are not interchangeable.

The river estimate integrates five equally spaced width measurements. Irregular cavities, seal coats and overflow need separate allowances.

Lift count addresses entered depth only. Temperature, total batch mass, mold geometry and the manufacturer’s batch-volume limit also control a safe pour.

Understand your build

Method & worked example

Rectangular volume = length × width × depth. Circular volume = π × radius² × depth. The river uses trapezoidal integration of five equally spaced width measurements. Volume-based mixes split total volume by the stated ratio; weight-based mixes also use both component densities.

Check the numbers

A 1,000 × 200 × 10 mm rectangular pour has a net volume of 2 L. A 10% allowance makes 2.2 L before multiplying by the number of projects in the batch.

A measured resin takeoff with a product-specific mixing record and editable project costs. The drawing, cut list, material plan and exports use the same entered measurements. Product geometry and purchase quantities are checked again when a project is saved.
