Why Does Wood Cup or Twist After Milling?
Wood movement after milling usually means internal stress, moisture imbalance, grain orientation, or the speed of the milling process has changed the board faster than it can stabilize. The solution begins with diagnosis, not forcing the board flat.

Wood is not meant to be locked across the grain. Use appropriate allowances, fasteners, clips, or panel construction so normal seasonal movement does not turn into a crack or warp.
