DPI = 25.4 ÷ line interval in mm. Line interval = 25.4 ÷ DPI. Estimated rows = ceiling(image height ÷ interval).

  • DPI here describes spacing between scan rows, not guaranteed optical resolution. Test intervals with your material, lens and measured spot size.
  • A finer interval adds scan rows and can increase runtime or overburn. The row count is a rectangular coverage estimate.
