Is caster diameter the same as mounting height?

No. Enter the caster’s complete mounting height from floor to mounting plate, including its fork and swivel assembly. Recalculate if the selected caster differs from the initial allowance.

Does the caster estimate rate the whole cart?

No. It uses estimated plywood mass and payload with three-wheel support and a 1.5 allowance. The base, joints, stability, hardware mass and actual operating conditions need separate checks.
