Method & assumptions
Two full-depth sides run outside the front and back. Front/back length = outside width − 2 × side thickness. Wall height = overall height − applied bottom thickness. Bottom size = outside width × depth.
- Dimensions describe the finished box, not the cabinet opening. Deduct slide clearances before entering the outside box size.
- For butt joints and an applied bottom only; not dovetails, rabbets or captured bottoms. Decorative fronts, hardware, kerf and structural suitability are excluded.
