Method & assumptions
Batch cost = quantity × (material + consumables + runtime minutes × machine cost rate ÷ 60 + labor minutes × labor rate ÷ 60) + setup minutes × labor rate ÷ 60. Selling price adds cost markup.
- Enter costs rather than a selling rate that already includes profit. Machine cost rate should cover ownership and operating costs; do not duplicate them in consumables.
- Labor is hands-on time and supervision you intend to charge. Setup is charged once as labor; include machine-occupied setup in runtime if applicable. Tax, shipping and sales-channel fees are separate.
