Method & assumptions
Circumference = pi × measured object diameter. Artwork angle = artwork width ÷ circumference × 360. Equal repeat pitch = circumference ÷ repeat count.
- For a cylindrical surface, not tapered drinkware. Measures artwork on the object; it does not calculate motor steps or roller diameter.
- A roller rotary uses drive-roller geometry for calibration; a chuck setup may use object diameter. Follow your controller's setup and frame a test before engraving.
